A growing share of our bidders are resellers restocking for eBay, Vinted and car-boot pitches. This one's for you.
Why timed auctions beat pallets for sourcing
Pallet sourcing means capital tied up in a gamble. Auction sourcing means you set the ceiling on every single item. Bid £4 max on twenty lots; win the eight nobody else noticed; your worst case was always under control. Cash flow stays predictable, which is the whole game in reselling.
What to target
- Mixed/assorted crates, the job-lot listings where one photographed corner shows something worth the whole crate price.
- "Untested" electronics, most untested items work. Price in a failure rate (say a third) and untested lots at £2–£5 still clear margin.
- Vague titles, a lot titled "assortment of bags" gets a fraction of the attention that "Samsonite" would. Read photos, not titles.
What to skip
Anything where postage exceeds your resale margin, check the delivery estimate before bidding, not after. And know the rules on restricted categories (electricals need PAT considerations if you're selling as a business, cosmetics have hygiene rules).
Use the data
We publish every realized price. Cross-reference against eBay sold listings and you have both sides of the trade before committing a pound. No other UK auction house shows you this.
